Annie is a Licensed Specialist Clincial Social Worker and owner of Annie Targos Therapy. After earning her MSW from KU in 2016, she spent four years as a therapist in community mental health, working extensively with trauma survivors, drug court, and child welfare. In her private practice, she sees adults, mainly focusing on trauma, but also working with depression, anxiety, and addiction. She strongly believes that, no matter our circumstances, we can feel more present, peaceful, and hopeful about the future. Annie feels honored to work with people through the most intricate and vulnerable parts of their lives. Her therapy style has been described as warm, genuine, judgment-free, and often humorous—humor is good medicine! Some of her greatest joys are learning about others’ stories and helping them realize their worth and resilience. Annie believes she has the best job in the world, and her goal is to deliver as much value to you as possible.

Annie is an active parishioner of St. Mary Parish. She loves spending time with her family, sipping tea, eating chocolate, listening to audiobooks, and going for walks.
